Default Blank Design View in Dreamweaver mx 2004

I'm getting a blank page under design view, but code is showing and the page shows up in preview, but not in design view. This problem just started.

This may be related to a problem in the HTML. Make sure you have valid HTML, where all the tags are valid, all tags closed and so on.

Cheers,

Imar

Thanks, Imar

The problem is I'm getting this problem on every page I open up from the remote site, but if I open up a page from my hard drive, I don't get a blank page. The pages use show up fine, but now they are not.

In that case, I don't know what's going on.

Maybe your FTP program or whatever you are using to get the files screwed up the files?

I'm using dreamweaver mx 2004 to download and upload files. I have two different web urls with the same company and it is only happening with one account the other is downloading with dreamweaver with no problem. The server company said it was a dreamweaver problem, but if it is to me it would do it with each account.

Odd issue; don't know what else to suggest, other than trying out a separate FTP program and see if that helps. Maybe you can try the official Dreamweaver forums on Adobe.com?

Cheers,

Imar
