Hi everyone. I am looking to host my site in an environment that supports ASP. The reason is because I am relying greatly on the book 'Beginning Dreamweaver 2004' and it starts incorproating ASP from chapter 6 onwards.

I know for a fact that tripod and yahoo's geocities do not provide support for ASP. Can anyone tell me who does?? I am looking for a service where I dont have to pay. Something like geocities or tripod. If anyone knows anything about it, please kindly let me know..

I have no experience with any of the hosts listed, so I can't recommend any of them.

Instead of choosing a remote host, you can try out all the examples on a local machine if you're running a flavor of the Windows OS.

Hi - I used websamba for a bit (www.websamba.com) - It will support one dsn connection - it runs a little slow - but I used it for testing before purchasing my own domain.
