dates setting!!

hi guys,
i'm creating a member register form using asp.net in dreamweaver mx 2004. when i try to input the date, the formate must be yyyy-mm-dd, but i want to use dd-mm-yyyy format, how can i do that??
windows xp sp2, language and region setting: english, australia (windows is not english version)
dreamweaver mx 2004 : 7.0.1 english
.net framework: 1.1 english
