Default Dreamweaver Site Busy Error Message

Whenever I try to Create a new site in Dreamweaver MX Version 6.0, I get a Dialog Box entitled "Server Busy" with the message "This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and connect the problem.
IF I click on Switch to, it displays the Start Button popup menu display. I'm stuck in an endless loop and the only way out is to use Task Manager to kill Dreamweaver.
I'm running Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack and 392 Meg of memory.
I've tried disabling Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect and ZoneAlarm, but I still get the same message, even using different user ID's.
I DO NOT have a server running.
 What could be going on?
 Thanks in advance.
 Mark

Hi Mark,

Did you already install the update to Dreamweaver 6.1? This update solves a lot of problems, including performance issues.

You can download it for free from the Macromedia site.

Cheers

Imar
