Default trouble updating pages to server using dreamweaver

Hi everyone, I am new to using dreamweaver and have attempted to build my own pages. The pages that I have built are very basic for my affiliate site. I have updated one of my pages by adding some new images. The problem I'm having is that when I uploaded the page to my server the new images I used are not showing up on my browser. I went back into dreamweaver and went to my local folder. I right clicked on the images and clicked put, but this still did not work. I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I barely know anything about uploading pages to the server. I think I just got lucky when I first uploaded them. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? I would greatly appreciate them. Thankyou :)

In the HTML code, there'll be an img tag and inside will be src attribute, what u need to do is make sure that is pointing at the folder on the server. if not e-mail me the code and i will look at it, make sure its all tip top!

Hi Ramona, I am hoping you were able to get this problem resolved by now. But just in case:
1.) Remember that you must have the images both in your local site and on the remote site (the server). I always upload the images first, before uploading the new web page - that way the images are there and available to the web page.
2.) Do you know about relative versus absolute links? When you set up your site, you designate the links -whether to other web pages or to images - as being relative to a particular and specific web page, or you designate them as being relative to the site root. There is a big difference!

If it is any comfort to you, I think everyone who works on the web has gone through what you are going through. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
