Default Positioning layers? Advice needed.

I'm reasonably new to Dreamweaver and am building quit esimple sites.
The problem I have is that I'm using layers to display images on a different part of the page away from the small rollover image.
The layer properties box asks me to position the layer to an exact position from the left and top margins.
However, I've centred my page so it appears well in the browser. Unfortunately because of the set position of the layer this now is pulled to the left of the screen.

The site url is http://www.kipsikraft.com/cornices02.htm

No offence to anyone on this forum, but you could be waiting forever to get a reply :-(

I've found a solution to my problem if any one else is interested
