Default MX Cache Missing Constantly

Every time I shut down Dreamweaver and reopen it, the first time I click on assets, or GOD FORBID try to update a Library item it has to "recreate the cache" because it is "missing". :(

I have gone on the (useless) Macromedia all it says is "make sure enable cache is checked" and it has always been checked, that is the default.

Anyone have the same problems? More importantly, anyone have any solutions?

Thank you!

What version? I had a similar problem with MX version 6.0 where it would delete all my sites that I had set up. Have you checked for patches?

This probably won't be much help, but I had the same problem and it was maddening. I ran Norton Utilities and it made a few repairs (registry entries, shortcuts) and restarted. No problems since then.
