Wrox should do better with Java
frankly speaking i'm disappointed. i'm a huge Java fan and i love reading books published by Wrox. But whenever I visit this site or check their listings for new books on java (especially EJBs and JSPs), i don't find anything. For example i haven't seen any books on JSF and i couldn't even find a forum topic on JSF. Java is moving forward & people need to know this. Besides, there are new materials on Enterprise Application Design and Architecture on J2EE platform. These materials will help guys to improve the performance on their applications.
To prove my point, there is ONLY 1 NEW BOOK ON JAVA(Beginning Java 6th edition) among the Wrox list.Meanwhile there are a whole load of books on Microsoft technology, especially .NET.
Wrox may end up giving folks the impression that Java's no longer in use or that it's not efficient. This impression has to be corrected immediately. I think Wrox has to work on getting more authors to write on books about Java.
I need your opinion, so what do you think?
