I presume it is a question of rather Word VB, but maybe somebody could help me.

I am saving a html document from a site (Chamber of Commerce) and I want to create a macro that searches the text and saves the names of the shareholders into an Excel spreadsheet, in certain cells.
The names appear after the string "Name:". How can I search and select the following 3 words (or 25 characters) after "Name:"?

When you say seaches the text can you confirm that you want to search the visible text that you see in the browser and not the HTML tags etc background.

Hi Matthew,

for me it is not important if I search the html or the document opened with Word or Excel. But as I'm not common to html I saw Word as a solution I could handle easier.
Perhaps you can give me clue with html...
