Hi all...

can anyone help on the problem mentioned ...

i have created a Macro ,which popsup a messagebox...but am unable to assign this Macro to the MenuItems.
i have saved this Macro with .xla extension(as Add-In) , how to i assign these Macros to the Menubar items???

Hi Sruti,

in Menus...
 [View]...[Toolbars]...[Customize]
Select the [Categories tab]...scroll down to...[Macros]

Drag the smilie face onto your toolbar...

Right click the similie face in the toolbar and click on [assign macro]

Select the macro to execute and click ok.

Close the application and reopen. Not necessary but I alway like to do this to check that things are working properly. Provided you xl-addin is configured to startup when excel starts the smilie face should have no problems. You can at any time also change the smilie face to another icon by customizing the toolbar and edit/change the icon.
