Am using php and mysql and I want to store pictures in the database. How will i do it?

storing picture in database will take lots of space.

So create a folder and store picture in that folder.

so while storing pictures in database store picture file name.

What prashu mentioned was correct. To add to that
on your MySQL database you could add a field in your table
where your picture are described.
This field will be the url and the Image source
stored in your image folder.
