Hi every one,

I have made a pivot tabel, I ran the query in sql query enalyser and copy the resultant data into excell sheet and then creat a pivot tabel. Is there any way so that I can insert the same query in excell sheet and each time excell sheet and pivot table will update by it self, my point is that I give the pivot table to my boss once and then he can run the query and updat the excell sheet and pivot tabel by a single click.
Any help will be apperciated.

not sure why your running the query in sql query analyser? why not do a new database query within the workbook, create the pivot table from that and then its a simple case of automating the query refresh whenever needed

u can create ur pivot table using connection from external database(xldatabase) or try import data thru coding and convert the data range into a pivot table.
