Default VBA Remote Unix control

Hi,

How do i have my VBA code (in a Windows .xls) remotely access a Unix server and go ahead and create, say, a directory?

Can i somehow batch send commands to a telnet session? Or is there an alternative means of connecting?

Thanks in advance,

Jigwar

Default

Solution now found.....

I was under the impression i'd have to send commands in some way to a telnet session, but in fact FTP does a bit more than send files over - it can create directories and all sorts too - and you can specify a command file to execute with the FTP call, so that's my solution route for info.

Thanks,

Jigwar
