I have a sheet in which there are some names in column A to E. Some names are repeted not all. I have to mention the common names in F column which are using in those 5 columns. Waiting for reply. Thanks.

A CountIF function should be able to get you the count of a particular Cell having the same value in a particular range

For example, place the following in any cell say G4.

=COUNTIF(A:E,F4)

It will get you the count of the value in F4 avaialble in the range. Count = 0 means the name is not used at all
