Hal,

I don't think very many people know that you can actually open threads in a new window by using either the SHIFT+Click method or by right-clicking on a thread and selecting Open in new window. If you had anything to say about this topic, why didn't you say it earlier?

Ben,

I really don't know what your situation is- but your reply wasn't needed. My point is- and continues to be- that we are using a lot of space and time for something easy to work around. I would be very surprised if, in fact, most people are unaware of the right-click menu.

Be that as it may- Are there not technical questions people need answering? Let's put some effort into that.

Seriously. I find it pretty insulting that you'd suggest I didn't know how to open threads in a new window. The point I'm making is that this feature should be a fairly trivial addition to the forum software and would provide some value to users.

The simple answer I've received is "No, we're not going to implement that idea", and that's that. No further discussion is required, unless it's on the topic of additional support for the idea.

Take care,

Nik
