Those links don't appear to work... I get a 404 not found...

P.S. What you got against purple? :D

Sorry about that. I forgot to copy the files to the other server in our cluster.

Thanks

The new icons look fine - they look like a standard Windows new folder thing - and despite the fact that there's still some people who refuse to use anything but BeOS or some other obscure OS because they think that makes them cool, everyone should know that it implies a new topic.

One problem however - All the topics seem to be "new" to me, as in they have had a new post since my last login, however, it clearly shows that I was the last one to post to the topic.

So possibly the "new" thing could be gotten rid of completely since it doesn't work properly.

I would like to change the icon's before I leave tomorrow. If there are any other comments or if anyone would like me to wait while they work on a design of their own, please let me know.

Thanks

For what it's worth, I still like the purple, but your suggested icons for 'new' seem fine to me. I vote to go with them.

I only hope the little asterisk is sufficiently visible in the forum list to easily pick out a forum with a new topic. Both the old purple and the current red made it (sometimes painfully ) obvious that there was new content.

I concur - but couldn't we have even a hint of purple? :D

Non-Blinking Purple! - Blinking would be be almost as distracting as the current scarlet. And I suppose blue will do.

I vote most definitely for no blinks. Is that star blue? Maybe it's these old eyes, but that's kinda hard to see...

yep it's blue. And it will not blink.

If there are no further comments I will push this live tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for your input,
