diffculty manipulating datagrid

guys,
can anbdy help me or give suggestions.

m havng dfculty manipulating datagrid m workin in vs.net2003 .
vb.net. ex. is freepanes like in excel for the forst columns.
is there any free third party datagrid for .net? or any links as to where can i maxmized the capability of datagrid?
