table width can be auto ?

we have to display data in table, some query retrieve more
records and same retrive less.
It can be possible that table width can be defind auto.
when retrive more record it automatic increase the width.
other wise we have to increase the width 1000 to 1500 etc..

Yes, with CSS. But it's unnecessary. What you describe is the default behavior of a table. Don't use width and height at all and it'll happen.
