Default Roll-over buttons with simple "click" sound?

I can do this easily with my Flash software, but I have one Web page that is strictly JavaScript and HTML code.

Currently, the buttons on this Web page are (static) made from the <img src="ImageName.gif"> and then an html tag to link it to another page. I would like to add a very simple "click" sound (it's a very small size .wav file) when the user rolls over the buttons.

I guess the buttons would first need to be roll over buttons with the .wav element attached.

Any help on this would be appreciated. If someone has something like this using JavaScript, that would be fine also.

Thx
Larry

larry,

I am sorry I don't know how to do this in anything but IE, but this link concerning the bgsound tag should help you.

http://javascript.internet.com/page-...ick-sound.html

I'm fairly sure there is a way to do this cross-browser, but I don't know it...
