Problem Regarding DB2 transaction log

Hi all,
I am facing problem inserting continuous records while keeping auto commit false.After inserting around 5k-6k records it is giving Database Transaction log full.
my current log configuraition parameters are-->

LOGFILSIZ - 1000
PRIMARYLOG - 3
SECONDARYLOG - 2

And if I am commiting the transactions then also after inserting 6k-7k records the transaction becomes very slow.
Please help me regarding this problem..
