Default J2EE + NetBeans 3.6

Hello Everybody...

I'm really new on Java, and I am downloaded J2EE SDK 1.4 and NetBeans 3.6 in diffrent boundles.

What I need to know is how to configure NetBeans to work with J2EE SDK 1.4 and Sun App Svr. When I try to configure NetBeans it doesn't locate the SDK.

Or is better to try eclipse?

Please help, I need some advice here...

You try to download the installation guide & search for JAVA_HOME classpath variable setup.

The link will help you for the better setup/install.

If you want to use Eclipse, you will get only the 30 days trial version of MyEclipse (used to configure J2EE). or even u can buy. It's Good. http://www.myeclipseide.com
