Deploying SessionBean in Appln Srv from Websrvr

hi,
i am trying to deploy a stateful session bean(in Appln server) from a Webserver(tomcat) running in seperate machine. but the stub references of ejbhome and ejbobject is not being passed back to client program in the webserver. what could be the problem. i am using weblogic appln server 6.0 trail version. is this a limitation of the server.
kindly suggest an aproach to solve the above problem
