Default what are J2EE system requirements?

What are the system requirements for J2EE 1.4? I've been all over Sun's site, but I can't find them. Thanks.

If you are talking hardware, then I guess it depends on the type of platform and application server that you are running, as well as the type of applicaton and the number of users it has to support. If you mean for for personal use only, then the lowest spec'd machine I've used is with JBOSS installed on a 192MB 650 Mhz laptop with a 10GB disk drive running NT Workstation.

There are not any special system requirements. If your operation system is Windows 2000/XP,then what you should do is only to install the j2sdkee1.4-win.exe and set the required environment variables. Here is the table showing the environment variables:

JAVA_HOME The location of the J2SE SDK installation
J2EE_HOME The location of the J2EE SDK installation
ANT_HOME The location of the ant installation
PATH Should include the bin directories of the J2EE SDK, J2SE, and ant installations

Good Luck!
