Default Java executables on Mac

How do I make an executable out of a .class or .java file for the mac?

You probably shouldn't! The idea of java is that you can run the same code anywhere usng the JVM. A mac executable would break that. There probably is a way to do this, but I'm not a mac user, so I'll leave it to someone else to answer you.

Cheers
