Want jsp code to compare start date and end date

HI All,
I want jsp code to compare startdate and end date and when end date is reached,mail to be sent to the user that end date is reached. The user date is colleted and stored in database and when end date is reached mail is to be sent to the user.
please help me in this quickly

I think, you can use Calendar.compareTo() or Date.compareTo() to compare dates
