enable automatic download of the Java 2 Plug-in

the following code snippet is given in Ivor Hortons beginning java.i want to know whether this really works.it didnt work on my end thence...
especially the vbscript part...

if you got connected to internet while working on that program, then it will defintely work.

Try that out.
