Default Capturing Screen of Other Systems

Hi, I am new to this forum and Java. I seek help that - I have an application (written NOT in java) Data Entry Screen. My data is very huge and available in a Text File. I want to develop a tool/application in Java which can capture the Data Entry Screen and input data by reading from the Text File. One of my colleagues has achieved this task in Visual Basic.

Appreciate help from forum member.
