Is there a way to capture "page cannot be display"

Hello everyone,

I have a web page which automatically refresh itself and redirect to another page for 30 sec and then refresh and redirect back to the main page and the cycle begins again.

The page that gets redirected to is our Intranet home page and sometimes it's down and so I get this "Page cannot be displayed" from my web page.

Is there a way to find out, after loading a page to know if it failed or not?

May I ask why are you doing it this way?

It would seem easier to either use a SSI, or Server-Side Include to draw the information from your Intranet page to your Internet page. If your information is dynamic, stored in a DB, then you should use a scripting language like PHP to include the material you want.

I say this because I would be pretty frustrated if I went to your site <YOUR INTERNET> and only got a 30 second peek before the page was refreshed and then redirected to another site <YOUR INTRANET> and the refreshed and redirected again.

Then again I may have misunderstood what you were saying. Can you provide a link so we can see what you are talking about?
