Default External Javascript indexed by search engines?

I have a DHTML pulldown menu which is configured via an external Javascript (http://pennington.cc/dcp/01_01.html). Is the text of this menu indexed by search engines?

Default

I recently read an article that says Google does not index JavaScript code.

I suggest you make the content of the menu static HTML, and use JavaScript just for the effects.
