chapter2 download

I downloaded this chapter to my Macbook Pro from Wrox site. Then I used Finder to open it with TextEdit to see the source. But TextEdit cannot open it; locked. It can only execute (run) it with results on display like Hello.

What other editor I may try other than TextEdit if it still won't work.

My question: is this code that I downloaded appropriate for this machine?
