Default Chapter 1 - First JSP is not seen by Tomcat

Get HTTP 404 error when trying to 'see' first JSP file as described in the WROX book 'Beginning JSP Web Development'. This is the JSP file 'index.jsp' and I am following the books instructions, even restarting Tomcat yet the JSP can not be found. Tomcat examples work fine with no trouble. Any ideas?

Default

I figured it out!! I recreated the file via Notepad but saved it as an ASCII file instead of the default Text file and hence I can specify the extension without Notepad putting the .txt on the end as well. It was the .txt extension added by Notepad that was causing my problem....the URL I was using had index.jsp but what really was needed was index.jsp.txt.
