Default jsp/java tomcat and mysql

my system is a web based library. and when i add data through the web page(html) it doesnt add to the database.I have written corresponding bean and jsp page. i use mysql as the database and tomcat as the web server.why entries are not saved in the database?

Sorry, but with this kind of information nobody is able to help. It's like telling your car broke down, how to fix it?

The least you could do is to debug your application with some System.out's to isolate the problem, or post an error log.
