i have problem with installation and configuring it.
i have installed Apache Tomcat 5.0 version successfully and also assigned 8080 port but when i run http://localhost:8080/ the browser ask for internet connection. The Browser is not able to detect localhost and cant connect to server. Everytime when i run http://localhost:8080/ to run the browser ask for internet connection. So please tell me do i need to have internet connection to run JSP application if not where and what is the problem. i am not able to run JSP. Please solve my problem.

Have you ran the Tomcat?Only you run Tomcat,then it can work.
