Windows Printing
I am using Red Hat 9 on a dual boot PC, the other system being Windows 2000, and I want to print using a networked printer that is connected to a PC that uses Windows 2000.
In Red hat when I use System Settings \ Printing \ New, enter a name and select Networked Windows (SMB) the PC that the printer is attached to is listed but no printer.
Is there something that should be installed on the PC that the printer is connected to, so as to allow a Red Hat PC to use it or am I doing something incorrectly? I know that the network and the printer are operational as I can print via the network from Windows 2000.
Best Regards,
Niall
