Default 'win98 and xp startup problems

Hi i tried installing windows 98 on my computer which already has windows xp but when i got to the setup, they said i didnt have enough space, so i tried to startup my windows xp but it always goes to this message saying : "NTLDR is missing press any key to restart." then it goes to this message where it says "to start from local disk press the home key" and when i press the home key it goes to this message : "searching for boot record from SCSI boot failure, insert disk in A: drive, press any key when ready" then it goes in a cycle :P i dont know how to fix this but i know that my disk is IDE not SCSI, sorry for bein such a newb. can anyone help me though? thanks :D

... and this is a linux question, how?

Try changing your BIOS setting to boot from floppy - it'll be on google.

And consider posting to a /windows/ forum if you need better advice ;)

Don't install lower version OS on higher version OS, next time:D
Re-install Win 98 ( boot from Win98 startup disk ); re-install XP then.
