dual boot problems between fedora 2 and win xp

i am running a laptop that needs fedora on it. i do not have the ability to completely remove win xp pro. my laptop will accept a 2nd internal hard drive. is it possible/likely that i can install fedora 2 to the 2nd hard drive without corrupting the win xp pro MBR?
