Default Doesn't recognize hard drive

I am trying to install linux enterprise 2.1 but I get to the point in the installation where asks me how I would like to partition and after I select an option it says something to the extent of "Error: there is no filesystem for it to partition" and then it kicks me out. I have a scsi hard drive and I know that I can get drivers for it so that redhat can recognize the hard drive but how do I manage to install the drivers before I go through the installation process????
