Thumbs up Develop for the Nokia N9, the new Linux based device By Nokia

The N9 has arrived.
Functional units of Nokia's long-awaited MeeGo Smartphone have finally landed into our eager hands.

The Nokia N950 is a platform available now for developers targeting the Nokia N9 and MeeGo handset apps in general.
Technical details are available at http://www.developer.nokia.com/Devices/MeeGo/

The new Linux-based platform, called MeeGo, looks fantastic. It's fluid, smooth, and the "swipe" idea looks really interesting.
You can also apply to a Nokia N9 Devkit Program. Candidates must be community developers ready to start working on new or existing open source applications, to be published in apps.meego.com and the Nokia Store. Links to your current projects are relevant! Deadline for applications: end of Tuesday, June 28th.
