Default How to install MySQL on D:\ having Windows 2000 ?
Can any1 help me out with this ?

I am trying 2 install MySQL 3.23.54 on my system.

I have read that by default MySQL is installed on C:\.

I have Windows 2000 on my D:\ which is where I want 2 install MySQL.

What are the issues that I should take care of ?

I want to know the steps to install on D:

Dear Shebir
You can install it where ever you want i installed it on my g partition but when you want to download it make sure you download the installer one
here is the link
http://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/M...m/pick#mirrors
unzip it first on where ever you want then install it and thats it
