Hey Guys, For lack of a better section to place this question this seemed the least out of place. Here is my question, I am working on developing a mass installer. By this I mean I have about a dozen programs that needs to be installed on many machines. I want to develop a program that will launch each installer and installer and install all the software as silently as possible. I know I will need probably some batch scripts to handle the install process but what programming language provides the best tools for this kind of development? I have a degree in math and minor in CS from Virginia Tech so I am widely knowledgeable in many languages and techniques. I know the have the cheap programs that will create an installer like this for you, but I'm hoping that this will be distributed at a University so I want to be able to control the professionalism of the project.
