Question Beginning Microsoft VB 2010

Hello everyone.
Im now reading the VB 2010 beginner book by Thearon Wills and Bryan Newsome. im 14 years old and im currently stuck. i tried to code the variable program yesterday but something went wrong. every code is exactly the same like in the book. This is at Page 40. help please!

Code:
Public Class Form1

    Private Sub btnAdd_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnAdd.Click
        Dim intNumber As Integer
        intNumber = 27
        intNumber = intNumber + 1

BTW, the book has its own forum: http://p2p.wrox.com/book-beginning-m...asic-2010-557/ which may make it easier for you and others to find relevant messages and answers to existing questions.
