Default Help Help - Code Behind in Sharepoint?

Could anyone explain me how to use code behind from Sharepoint? I have an .aspx page that has got code behind as well. I want the application to work as it as without any majot changes to that. Is there any way that I can use the code behind in sharepoint. Please help me.
