Default Installation of Oracle 9i

Please help me. Am trying to install Oracle 9i on my p4 machine. but the setup does not starts. i tried using different copies of oracle 9i. Its working with all other computers in my office. only p4 is showing the problem. When i double clicks on the setup it shows as it is going to start. but it wont. i know Oracle 8i was having some problem like this which can be resolved by renaming a file in that. i tried renaming the same file still it doesnt work.

Sree,
You need to tell us(the group), what type of OS you are using to get a solution. If you are using XP Pro, 2000 Pro, Linux ES /or WS, or Unix, they all act as pseudo servers/servers and can deploy websites. Please provide more information. I will try to help, if I can.

best regards,

virtgrav
