You need to set the DNS record for the domain to your IP address.

Check with your domain provider.

If you think you've already done that, do an 'nslookup yourdomain.com' in a command prompt, and IP address should match yours (bare in mind, if you've just changed the entry with your domain provider it can take up to 72hours to take affect).

Then you simpy configure a webserver (Apache or IIS or similiar) to host the website on your IP.

If you want more help with that last part, just lemme know, I've had experience with both webservers, as I'm sure many other people here have.

Hi, I dont' know nay of the Wrox PHP books, i stumbled on this forum about a month ago :D

Have a rake around the configuration pages on your domain provider's website, there should be something for the domain name target.

I assume you want to setup your own home computer as a webserver, yes?

Yes, I want to setup on my home computer.
About the books, It does not have to be Wrox Books, any books that explain that problem is fine.

Thanks
