Default host has preset database naming convention

My new host - Turtle Hosting (www.turtlehosting.com) - has, like many, a preset database naming convention. This is "username_customname", in my case "ayr_mini".

The problem is when I created my database locally, wrote the code and setup my forum with all the forum areas and topics etc I named it "crmpicco_mini".

How can I get around this issue? I realise I need to change the code, which is fine. But what about the way PHPBB2 (my forum software) is setup? It is all pointing to crmpicco_mini, i'm using SQL Yog as my MySQL Front End GUI - is it possible to change this database name? Or what is my best option?

MySQL Version : 5.0.41
Environment: Windows XP Home SP2
PHP: 5.2.3

Any help appreciated.
