can php read sms and save sms to database from phone/gsm modem attached in com1?

would u send me a code please?

Doubt it, better to write a program in C to talk to com1, is quite simple (in Win9x it was anyway, I assume the standardisation of NT buggered that up).

Reading messages stored on a phone is a different matter, but I'm no expert there.
