I would like to say hello guys and gals, yes I am a nub. I have a basic understanding of most languages and would be happy to contribute how ever I can. Usually when I have an issue I just google it. Today I just cant seem to find an answer. I am not looking for anyone to do the work for me just point me in the right direction I can work the code in myself.

I am trying to insert a code snippet box onto one of my pages. You know those little boxes that displays little snippets of code (the code version not the rendered version) For instance I am craeting a script for my own personal use.

The script is for SEO'd links including title keywords etc I ca get the script to print out correctly the problem is when the script echoes the link the server automatically parses it into a link and i want it to just write the html code and display it so I can copy and paste the html code.

Can some one point me in the right direction or tell me what to search for because any search to do with "code snippet box" returns the results of DW and Microsoft snippets themselves or how to use them which is not what I am looking for.
