php on linux

greetings p2p,
help me to associate php as a module on r.h.linux 9 with Apache web server and mysql db.please also tell me which rpms i have to download to solve the purpose as rpm command could'nt be successful on the rpms downloaded by me showing c1,c2,c3 compiler not found.i think all the packages should be there in r.h.linux 9 cd's but i dont know their configuration.plz help me.
