Default Installing on Linux PHP
Page 674 Install PHP
Point 5 Configure the source has a line
"-with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql"

Is this indicating a directory with files in it or an executable. In linux distros there is some variance as to where one finds mysql installed. I am assuming this line refers to an executable but the following sentences about "the base of the Mysql installation directory confuses me."
