What do you mean by extra packages?
If you are referring to the link to Orielly packages in a previous post, the source code is also included in the downloadable file. Whats the difference between learning from the source code in the Orielly packages and code posted in this forum???

hi angrycat!

the code which was posted starts with

<%@ page import="java.util.*" %>
<%@ page import="java.io.*" %>
<%@ page import="java.sql.*" %>
<%@ page import="com.sap.dbtech.powertoys.*" %>
<%@ page import="com.sap.dbtech.rte.comm.RTEException" %>

..
..
..

ok.
here i have to download package from com.sap.dbtech.powertoys and
com.sap.dbtech.rte.comm.RTEException.

isnt it?

i told i have to upload any file without using these packages.ie there should not be any need for downloading anything from sites.

i want to upload files as such.

understood?

bye

Sonnu

As I said, source is included in Orielly packages for you to learn form, I wrote my own code to do file uploads, outline of which is in thread you were reading.
